Our journey to home ownership in Javea was completed by an introduction through a friend to Antonio & Abby Gonźalez Barber.
We purchased a 12 year old Villa which has been totally transformed by the team at Villas De Lujo. All aspects of the transformation from Design, Architectural Drawings, Planning, License approval, Electricity and Gas supply.
Fit-out and final decoration were completed on time and on budget. Their aftercare service and advice with all aspects of owning a property in a foreign country, where you don’t speak the language or understand the law, was a massive contribution to making this journey a very pleasurable and stress free process.

We recently completed our custom build with Villas de Lujo. Having never built or renovated, and with few contacts in the industry in Spain, we were unsure about who we could trust to build our family home. On the recommendation of a family friend who has built his own house with Villas de Lujo, we gave Abby a call.
From the get-go we were made to feel like valued clients. Abby and Antonio helped us navigate the design and pre-construction phase. With the help of Villas de Lujo and their associates, we felt we could make decisions with confidence. The team was always willing to help, responsive to e-mails and phone calls, and took our ideas and concepts and helped us transform them into a spectacular design.
This level of dedication and professionalism extended into the construction phase of the project. Trades and contractors were all polite and friendly. Any issues or hiccups were dealt with by Antonio and the team. They would deal with the headaches and only come to us with the solutions. We also had continuous support from Abby and the office team with our many questions on interiors and finishes.
They were always ready to help with ideas or recommendations, and their assistance and input to the finished product were invaluable. Our build completed in November 2018 after 13 months of construction. The project ran ahead of schedule and with no cost blowout. The end result? Amazing. The quality of finishes and workmanship was outstanding – a sentiment echoed by both our own private building surveyor and defect inspector. We are absolutely delighted with our new home.
If I were to build again, I would not hesitate in engaging Villas de Lujo and recommending them to family and friends. They made the whole process so stress-free and enjoyable – which for a working family with 2 young children was pivotal in keeping us sane throughout the build.
